Transforming with the Silver Ring Thing

This is mo!! Posh, at the Silver Ring Thing show last Friday

So this weekend I went to have fun, shout and enjoy with other young Christians at the Silver Ring Thing show. It was on Friday, 24th August 2012, 7pm to 9:30pm, Northcliff Union Church, Johannesburg. It was so awesome!! The music was beautiful and so was the show, the people were too sweet and friendly and of course I was not alone I was with my friends Olenah, Joey, Ona, Chery, Lee and Ralph.

Olenah, Ona and I bought our first rings at the show with the Silver Ring Thing Bible. We were so excited and ready to commit to the Lord. You might be asking what is the Silver Ring Thing.

"The Silver Ring Thing is a unique para-church youth ministry that promotes the message of purity and abstinence until marriage using two avenues- an intense Live Event and a youth/small group film event resource called Project 434."

Mission: “to motivate, educate, support and transform generations of young people to embrace a lifestyle of Christ-centered sexual abstinence until marriage.”
