What is the Alpha course?

Alpha is a non-pressurised, fun and informative course. It is a place to share your thoughts and explore the meaning of life. The course is designed primarily for people who don't go to church or who haven't been to church in a long time and are interested in the Christian faith. (http://uk-england.alpha.org/)

Yesterday I attended the Alpha Course at New Life Baptist Church and it was amazing as usual. We meet every Wesnesdays at St Barnabas College, at 7:30pm. The Alpha course  is not just a course but a life changing experience. If you have never been to church, and have no clue why there is church, why do we pray, who is Jesus, who is the Holy Spirit, and what does it mean to be a Christian, ect., Alpha course is there to help you ask these questions and explore life.

Explore BIG life's questions and join us every Wesnesdays as we gather in small groups with our lovely facilitators and life couches. Just know that it does not matter which church you attend everyone and anyone is invited.
Yesterday we looked at the question of what FAITH is. it was very interesting the video we watched before the small groups discussins was very informative and fun. I thank God for the Alpha. As I attended Alpha last year I now part of the praying group, so after watching the video my group I  get together and we intercede and pray for the needs of the church and also pray with much thanksgiving, while the participants go for discussions in their groups. I also thank the Lord for giving us power and strenght to continue doing His work and may the Lord always lead and guide us as we continue with the Alpha course.
